I used Heliopteris Frosted today for the first time. I'm very impressed, for a couple of reasons. One, the face feel is very similar to Chatillon Lux (my favorite splash), as it has a bit of a balm-like feel, rather than pure alcohol (like Fine, any drugstore aftershave and, for that matter, most splashes available today). The face food really works. It may feel a bit heavy this time of year for those of you facing tropical weather, but here where it's 74 degrees, it makes one's face feel well taken-care-of.

Second, I'm impressed with the scent. It's not really like any of my other 100+ aftershaves, and very pleasant, and hard for me, with my limited scent vocabulary, to describe. Also unlike most of my others, it has a long-lasting dry down scent that is fuller and subtler than the initial scent.

The only downside I see is the price. I'm happy to pay this much for a great aftershave, but there are many who aren't. I hope this takes off for you, Sean!

Wow. Thanks for kind words about my product. I’m really glad you are enjoying the performance and scent! Heliopteris has a bit of wood/herb/spice going on and I find it quite unique as well.

Again, thanks so much and have a great day.

Cheers.

It's great to see some comments coming out on Maol Grooming products. I just missed out on the Frankenlime Frosted, but Heliopteris sounds like a great winter choice. It's on the list now.

Received the packages yet fellas? I’m excited to hear your thoughts.

Make sure you shake them like they owe you money. Only use a few shakes. And apply onto slightly wet skin. Enjoy!
