When I first started using a DE razor Mama Bear was one of the few artisanal soaps available. I really liked the scents but moved to tallow soaps.

A severe drought in NH had me looking for glycerin soaps as they take less water to rinse the brush, razor and sink. An internet search on glycerin soaps led to Mama Bear Soaps. i was surprised as I thought she went out of BUSINESS

Ordered two scents:
Christmas Tree Forest - a woodsy scent
Aged Spice - Mama Bears take on my favorite scent Old Spice. It is lovely.

Both soaps lather quickly and well. The lathers smell divine. The lather  is cushioning and slick. The lather stays together in a hot scuttle for my 4 pass shave. I have some soaps that fall apart due to the heat. But these are good start to finish. I highly recommend re-visiting MAMA BEAR SOAPS

Most importantly the added glycerin makes clean up a snap with significantly less water than my tallow soaps.

Man - if it were me I’d rather “let it mellow if it’s yellow” than switch up soaps for a drought
