I too have the heavy MR8, which doesn't see much use. Have the limited edition LE1 stainless inbound now - curious to see the effect of the rather unusual grip/knurling pattern. Have to say that the MR22 is quite a catch, though; wish it was still available.

I have the MR3, which looks like, but is not as heavy as the MR8 and the stylish MR5. They are both great handles. Most 3 piece razors have standard threading. As has already been mentioned the Fatip does not have standard threading and so the handle will not fit that razor.

I've got the MR11 and LE1. Both really well finished, wouldn't think of them as a budget item if you didn't know the price. The striking machining on the LE1 doesn't really affect the grip for me, which is fine. Looks great.

got my MR11 handle today.  very nice looking!

I must also say that Maggard's has excellent customer service and fast shipping.  I got prompt replies to my email questions and I received my products within 3 days (ordered very late on Friday night or Saturday morning, can't recall exactly at the moment).

I have not. I'm going to pair the handle with my ATT S2 head that's due in this week. I just started using my ever-ready 1914 last night so it might be a little bit before I use that combo.

I took some photos of the handle on my scale. when I get home from work tonight, I'll post up some photos.

the MR11 - according to my scale - weighs in at 2.2oz or 62g:

edited to add: maggard's says this handle weighs 56g: http://www.maggardrazors.com/product/mag...ndle-only/

if anyone else has this handle, I'm curious what theirs is weighing in at.
