Curious, too, about Autumn Cabin vs. Kananaskis Explorer in terms of scent.

Can you help, AlphaFrank75,  on these as well as Crowsnest Pass vs. Old Strathcona?

I haven't tried Crowsnest Pass yet so no help there.

You know, until you asked about AC and KE, I never compared the two side-by-side. I just thought they stood alone in their separate little scent world. Turns out there are some similarities. Kananaskis Explorer is one of my favorite evergreen, boreal forest scents. If you like this type of scent, you got to have the set. When I compared the two, Autumn Cabin has some of those same evergreen scents. But it has other scents added to make it its own thing. I guess it's the toasted maple and vanilla that keeps it from going very far into the boreal arena.

That's very helpful analysis, and it's also about what I expected based on the descriptionsThank you.

My first session with American Vintage and it was highly enjoyable. Tobacco pops out off the jar, but rose and leather start to come in. Yet it all comes together in a relatively clean and refined manner. The splash feels like it leans more into the woods or oak moss. All very early reactions with just one session, but I could see this in a heavier rotation for the upcoming months.

Cool, that's been on my radar for awhile but never have pulled the trigger yet.

I was in the same situation. I have recently started tiptoeing back into tobacco centric scents. It has always been a bit challenging to find ones that work given the breadth of tobacco interpretations. What I enjoyed about American Vintage is a tobacco scent that feels lighter and more refined in the backdrop of all the other notes. In contrast, MacDuff's Tobacco Trail translates as a more robust and deeper tobacco scent, although not overpowering. That's one I am also just beginning to use as well, so early thoughts that should be taken with a grain of salt.

What are the scent notes for American Vintage?
And is it likely to be released again in the near future, Macduffs_Soap_Co ?

Got Macduff’s Canadian Tuxedo yesterday, and shaved with it this morning. Very nice scent.
