[Image: QwsC6Cy.jpg][Image: AC4AfF0.jpg]People are always posting images of their expensive artisan razors.  Just to be a bit contrary, I thought I’d do the opposite. I want to post about one of the cheapest, mass-produced razors around. I attended a shave collectibles meeting last month in Cincinnati, and while there was introduced to the Yuma Razor - one of the cheapest shaving tools in existence.  Made entirely from cheap, stamped pot metal, it delivers an incredible shave! Have any of you had any experience with this razor? I really love mine. I have my expensive artisan razors, but lately find myself reaching for this Yuma.

On a scale from 1-10 how aggressive would you say the Yuma is?

Yuma is a nice, aggressive and pretty efficient Turkish razor.
In Turkey, you can get Yuma less than a dollar. I remember it costs around 50 cent.
This price includes many taxes, manufacturer's and sellers' profits.
USA prices are higher, since shipping costs much more than the razor price.

I'd like to see some pics with a blade in it. I'm glad you like it!

Pictures with a blade would be nice. The rough, unpolished appearance makes it look like a museum piece! I like it more than old school Gillette razors. Lots of character. Very nice.

Since it is just pot metal, what steps do you take to prevent rust?

Here are some shots with a blade in it.  I routinely clean and dry every razor I own after using it.  Rust has never been an issue.

I have one also. It is pretty aggressive from what I remember (Mine is in the back of a drawer somewhere). I took it on a few trips because it is one that I wouldn't lose sleep over if I lost it.

That thing looks like 60 grit sandpaper. Can't deny the OPs experience with it though.
