My Lothur Namkha set arrived yesterday and I used it for a late evening shave.

The scent on this offering is very oud-forward. The natural oud dominates everything else. I didn't detect the rose much at all, but did get some musky amber which reminded me of some of the notes in Floid Vigoroso splash. The overall soap scent was somewhat similar to Ethos Dragonsbeard, but I find Namkaha more natural/earthy and less sweet. This is clearly not a scent for everyone. I'm neutral on the scent. I neither love it, nor do I hate it.

The soap container has a small diameter, so I scooped out a bit and palm lathered it. It's a super soft soap, and my brush ate it up and overloaded pretty quickly on me. I had to add a ton of water to get it dialed in... but once it was, wow! Very impressive lather. It held together tight though 4 full passes. The post shave felt great. Highest marks here.

The splash seemed like an oily liquid. It had a strange burn at first, again reminding me of Ethos splash which does exactly the same thing on my face. It was a bit tacky for maybe 30 minutes, but then dried down.

This was my first experience with Lothur and it was very positive! It's an extremely high quality product all around.

Face lathering and very wet brush work perfect with Lothur. It is very thirsty soap.
I tried Lothur with many different razors (Polished - Brushed / Aggressive - Mild / DE - GEM - SE), every time I am getting excellent result.
It is super slick and highly protective. I like Nawkha scent.. Small container didn't bother me.. I am using 26-27mm brush.
I still prefer Ethos over Lothur, because Ethos has high quality natural ingredients.

Splash is exactly the same for me. Slight burn and tacky then it dries down and feels good.

Kadota is my new favorite wetshaving scent / set. The green fig note is out front and somehow reminds me of apricot in a strange way.

Amazing stuff and I highly recommend it.

I like Namkha and Kadota. Ordered "Blue" as a summer scent from The Razor Company. Looking forward to try.
