I am actually one of those who love it.  It is an amazing Fougere.  It is not a MdC type Fougere.  It has more true fern smell.

The three scents from LJDJ that I receive the most compliments when wearing are Spanish Fern, Yo Solo, and Brihuega.  All three are keepers to me in terms of fragrances and have interesting twists to standard scents.  For example, Brihuega is a lavender scent with tobacco and tonka bean, making it much more masculine.  Spanish fern has some sweetness to it, maybe from the bergamot and orange?  The soap therefore does not smell dark and too earthy, which I don’t care for, like some Fougere opposite of MdC.

I would also rank Spanish Fern higher than Citrico Excentrico, Kilix, Masala Connection, and Quacos—the other fragrances I have tried. The two that I really want to sample next are Black Rose and Joserra Rodrigo.  The soaps and balms were not available when I started looking into LJDJ.

Brihuega (lavender, soap)

What was noticed (beyond the brilliantly insightful soap theme) is the creaminess and nourishing feel, apparent after the first pass.

She is very musically talented, as are her siblings. More importantly, she was raised properly.
