It’s really nice. This guys got a talent not just for the base but scent as well. I have no idea if he blends his own fragrances in house or hires a professional nose but all if his scents that I’ve tried (I have more than 10) have been very well executed. And as I’ve said before, the base is amazing. Now if he’d only make a bay rum, then my happiness would be complete.

URDANETA:  I love this scent.  From The Razor Company:
    "An exotic olfactory adventure along the spice route loaded with tropical fruits.
        Nutmeg, pineapple and coconut.
        white flower and saffron
       Musk, Nargamota, Oud, Patchouli and Vanilla."




ALTIMIRA:  I like this scent a lot, although I am still trying to figure out why.  It reminds me of trips to the zoo, or of a barn.  From Kosmosman:
       "Altamira PaleOud embodies a rich, oriental oud scent with top notes of Nagarmotha, saffron and 
       rose. A heart made of jasmine is embedded in a sweet base made of sandalwood, vanilla and musk"




Céfiro A Ventus is in the batter's box.  The scent off the puck is delightful and, as the name suggests, in the Creed wheelhouse.

Cool label art! Those ones aren’t available at Top of the Chain so I won’t be getting them soon.
I do have Cifero and it’s really nice

I hear you Marko.  I find availability seesaws between Pasteur's and The Razor Company.  Kosmosman seems to be about as well supplied, but Greece and Virginia are a bit far from each other.

I have URDANETA coming as well, I hope it smells good.

Céfiro A Ventus

The pic is a reprise of tonight's soap-of-the-day photo, but just so you know, tonight's lather was a delight - easy to load, easy to hydrate, and beautifully effective and fragrant.  FWIW Céfiro joins Rodrigo De Jerez and Black Rose in my personal pantheon of Los Jabones de Joserra soaps.  aerolord: Fragrance is about as YMMV as it gets, but if you are looking for an homage to Creed Aventus, I think most probably you will not be disappointed.

Just adding to the joy for Joserra. 

The scents are well executed and the base, even though it can vary, is particularly well done. The ingredients work beautifully together.

The Iberian Peninsula are producing my favorites right now. WestMan out of Lisbon is another stunner.

Black Rose is a really nice scent and the base is excellent
