looking for ATT Calypso M1 reviews

I was going back and forth about M1 or R1 head, I also have sensitive skin with course hair. At the end of the day very mild razors don't work that well for me, I don't like doing too much cleanup, so I figured the R1 would work better.

Sounds a lot like my own thought patterns — nothing wrong with a mild razor, if it gets the job done, but how many of them actually accomplish that…? It would be great to read your notes about the Calypso R1 once you’ve had a chance to get acquainted with it.

Still loving my R1 Calypso and eager to hear more M1 reviews.

Mine is supposed to arrive on Thursday, I believe.

my razor was delivered yesterday. she sure is a beauty! I'll probably give it a go early next week after I finish off the blade in my gillette tech.

I thought the razor looked much better in person than the pictures on the ATT website. I look forward to your thoughts on the razor.

to my eye, the razor is darker in color in person than in the photos on the ATT website.  that is fine by me as I actually prefer it being darker.

I just checked the photos on the ATT site. I think it's the lighting that changes the appearance of the colors, as you can see by these 2 photos (both from the ATT website):





the 2nd photo is a better representation of the razor once it's in your hands, imho.

There’s been a few pictures of the Calypso on the Shave of the Day threads, and in those, the razor also seems to look darker than it does on Above the Tie’s main photo.

I agree it is darker in person. I am very pleased with the finish. My Calypso R-1 shaves like a dream.
