I Instagram quite a bit these days and have no idea who they were referring to.

The information provided in the original post was that they were having issues with a "prominent" artisan who was "Re-releasing" a scent.

This could literally apply to so many different artisans!?

Vanilla beans along with re-releasing a scent from last year and non-alcohol splash were the key pieces of info. If you follow this artisan I shouldn't need to spell it out any further.

On another note, I think it's so hypocritical that some of the same people in this thread bitching about waiting more than two days for a reply or for their orders to get shipped have seemingly zero issue with another artisan (who is popular on this forum) taking 2-3 WEEKS after taking payment to ship orders. No complaints. As a matter of fact they get praise and repeat orders. The double standard really boggles the mind.
I don't recall anything said about vanilla beans until you just posted Rolleyes

For me personally I’ve had different experiences with both of these Artisans. One Artisan it takes me six attempts across multiple platforms to reach in order to inform them of a mistake, and once they’re contacted I get a bunch of excuses. The second Artisan whose product is going to be 2-3 weeks late, contacts me when he knows it will be late, apologizes and asks if I would like a refund or if I would like to wait for the product. Two mistakes, both handled differently. One is acceptable to me, the other isn’t. Like I said in the OP, we have lots of choices.

I've been biting my tongue bc I don't know who is being referred to, but I can't stand mix-ups during order shipment handling. How difficult is it really? The invoice is printed and stuffed in the box, not sure how orders could go out wrong.
Also, pretty infuriating if I had to reach out more than once/twice to get the issue corrected.

Where I work, we received a shipment with 6 pieces each of 2 items. It should have been 5 of one and 6 of the other per the invoice. After more than a month, shipper agreed with us, after verification that I can count, and billed us for the difference!

I should add that during the weeks, I talked with a rep twice. I was told everything was correct on their end and am I sure we got 6 pieces, not five. My clinical department guy told me to use the product if needed, as it would cost more to ship back. The rep said to use it but realize I may have to pay for it. After twice being told all was correct, I got the 3rd call this Monday stating they found the error on their end so we did in fact receive 6 and could I double (now quadruple!) check that we had 6. After I confirmed that it was okay, expect an invoice for that extra box as it shouldn't have been sent but you don't want to send it back. (It's a refrigerated item, a med we will easily use up this Fall.)
