Was told it was solely my fault and that was the end of that discussion.

Does not leave me with the best feeling about buying more from them in the future.

Hahaha, I wish someone would do that to me, no seriously I really do

Confused2 I dunno ... Suppose you went into a brick and mortar store, you can't see a lineup (if there even was one), you don't/can't see any staff, and you had to stand there and wait three days to get a response about a purchase you wanted to sort out. I'd be a little bit upset.

You are comparing different things but that's ok. I'll bite. When you visit a store, it is highly unlikely not to see anyone. Who runs it? Is it a self-service store?

What if someone gets a few days off? Is he obliged to view his emails and respond the same day? I don't think so. However, when I take some days off, I use to view my emails regularly via my smartphone due to the nature of my profession, but let me say this is not a good habit because you simply never get a rest. Being an artisan is certainly not a "job" that requires such attention if I may say.

Anyway, everyone hates to get ignored but it's always better to get a late reply than never getting one. We don't have to share the same opinion on this or any other matter.

This Artisan was re-releasing a scent that had been made available last year which I really enjoyed. I’d already made a large dent in the Soap/Splash that I had purchased last year, so I decided to buy a backup as I didn’t want to be without this set in my Den. I placed my order for One Soap and Two Splashes, and when I received my package I found that there was One Soap and One Splash. I was missing one Splash, not a big deal, and certainly not the first time this has happened to me. I double checked the invoice to make sure I had indeed ordered two, and yes, two Splashes were listed on the invoice

My simple reply is this:

2022 and the attitude I see everywhere in business and social is “I DO NOT CARE”

Customer Service represents your brand image, mission, and values. Customer retention is cheaper than customer acquisition AND HAPPY CUSTOMERS WILL REFER OTHERS

John makes a VERY STRONG point here.  Mediocrity can’t be accepted

Maybe I read this wrong but I think the OP's main issue was not about having to wait three days.
I think it was the unnecessary justification offered by the business owner, ie:

"just because you saw me active doesn't mean anything"
"it's my assistant who runs my social media not me"

Uncalled for...customers don't care which employee does what, if a business isn't responsive, it's
not Jim or Bob;s fault, it's the fault the business.

The out of town recording will play if you call!

The better question is: Where did I put it? It’s packed and ready to go, I just need to log into USPS and print a label. I will figure out where I put it.  I need to get with a few people and ship all razors on Monday.

They working me like a Hebrew Slave on the top part of the pyramid. Probably best to keep a guy like me busy!

OP, it's patently obvious that you, as do many people nowadays, expect instant gratification and the entire World doesn't work that way. Things did however work out perfectly, but not on your timetable. Life's a lot like that. Don't make "drama" where there is none.   Wink
Secretary Ramsey put his foot into it yesterday . . . in the course of his remarks he said that California “needs water and better society.”  “So does h-ll,” yelled someone in the crowd.
