I thought I would share this information received, this afternoon, from L'Occitane.

At the weekend, I tried to buy a Cade shaving soap refill from their UK website. I was surprised to find that both the refill and aluminium dish were absent, whilst the cream and other Cade products were still listed. Alarm bells were ringing so I sent an email off to L'Occitane, asking to clarify the situation.
This afternoon, I received the reply I didn't want to hear. The shaving soap and aluminium dish are being discontinued.

Here is the reply I received.

Dear David,

Thank you for contacting L'Occitane.

We can confirm that the Cade Shaving Bowl and Cade Shaving Soap Refill are being discontinued and are now sold out on our website. We are sorry for any disappointment this may cause you.

We still have some availability in some of our boutiques but these will only be available until stocks last. If you would like to purchase one of the few remaining, please call our customer service team on 0800 368 9000, Monday to Friday - 9.00 am to 5.30pm.

Yours sincerely,

That's unfortunate. Seems avaliable on the US website. Going to head to a store to grab a puck later just in case.....

Thanks for info David! I'm happy I purchased the bowl with the soap when it was available. The aluminum dish is one of the best of which I own for shaving soaps. The shaving soap i'm not really worried about since I wasn't a huge fan of it.

Hi David,

The Cade Shaving Bowl and Soap is still available worldwide, just not in the UK.  Also we will be bringing it back, so fear not!
If you would like us to locate one for you, there is still plenty of stock in our stores. Call the customer service team on the number above.

Thank you
L'Occitane Customer Services.

I wonder if a reformulation is going to occur?  I hope not, as in my opinion this soap performs beautifully.  Here is some photographic proof of the type of lather it is capable of producing:
