I've got quite a few new products under development, as well, so check back often!

We love hints... Smile Your existing soaps sound very interesting as is and look forward to what's in store!

Hints, well, my next two scents are nearly complete:

The Final Frontier - I am basing this scent on the smell of space as described by astronauts. This is far and away the most ambitious scent I have pursued, and it will definitely not be for everyone. The profile I am after is seared beef, gunpowder, brake pads, and ozone. It has been an interesting experience, to say the least, and my current goal is to nail the profile I'm after without winding up with an unusable product. I'm almost there Smile

Savannah - I'm from Georgia (albeit on the other side of the state from Savannah), and this scent is intended to be much closer to home than The Final Frontier. Peaches, sweet tea, and the ocean are what I'm aiming for. This will also be my first mentholated soap, and will definitely be at the top of my rotation through the summer.

The smell of dying stars... now THAT is an interesting scent profile!

I ordered a few samples including The Final Frontier. This should be interesting.

gregcss It's a unique scent - and the only scent I've made to date where I was pursuing a theme rather than trying to make something that smelled good. I've gotten a lot of wildly different feedback on the notes that people smell most, so I'll be interested to hear you thoughts Smile

I have not shaved with The Final Frontier yet, but the scent from the tin is interesting. Believe it or not the scent is close to what I was expecting. Deep down there is a sweetness to it. The scents of Cuir et Épices and After the Rain are very nice. I will be shaving with one of these tomorrow....likely The Final Frontier Smile

The beef really opens up once it's lathered Smile Also, the vegan formula is very thirsty - make sure you give it plenty of water and it will reward you!

Hi, I just got a sample of your Marshlands soap and it smells great. Is the vetiver smell from an essential oil? I think it only says fragrance on the ingredients list, so I'm wondering what the vetiver scent is derived from.

I'm glad you are here. I've been watching your site and want to get you to make a brush for me next time I splurge for myself.

I love the videos on your website and that you actually mix your own acrylic.

It's great that your soap is at Maggards. That makes it easy to add some to an order.

Have you planned on coming to the Nashville Wet Shave Meetup? I don't think their are any more vendor slots left, so it may not be worth the drive.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! The vetiver is directly from essential oil in it, yes, as is the bergamot. The oakmoss is synthetic, but there's very little in there.

Thanks Pete - glad you're enjoying my videos Smile

I haven't planned on the Nashville meetup - I'm something of a recluse (to put it mildly), so the chances of me traveling without a death in the family are pretty low. Unfortunate, but that's the way it goes.

Thanks for the clarification. Could you also tell me if the matching aftershave splash smells the same as the soap, as well as how the scent holds up in terms of longevity during a day's wear?
