My Intel Services have told me that people on other sites are selling these razors for $350.00. Enough said!

I was told by CS, they are going to start rolling them out more often, so exercise patience and you won't get ripped off.

I saw that as well...

I received mine yesterday but I am currently waiting on a replacement now. As I believe I received a defective one.

In what way was it defective?
Just curious as I also recently received one and maybe I missed something Smile

The flap that holds the blade, when locked is loose and moves. To me it appears either the flap is too small or the head was too big, and the flap looks as if its barely held in when a blade is loaded. When comparing mine to the pictures on the website, there is no gap. I will try and upload a picture later to show what I am talking about.

Would definitely be interested in the pics- I recently received a KC as well. There is a bit of play when a blade is loaded but it doesn't seem to effect the shave [this is my first King or Classic Cobra so I don't have a point of reference to compare].

The blade play is normal, this is not the Goose, is not meant to be rigid.

This was my initial thought too. The moving base plate is why I never got great shaves from the Cobras.

Sort of what I figured too hrfdez and SharpSpine. I have used the KC this past week since receiving and have had solid shaves but there is some play. Blades don't seem to last very long either although I would like to use a few more to get a full perspective.

Now when you mean move, as in the baseplate flexes up and down or side to side? When I loaded a blade in mine it will move side to side (not all loose as with no blade loaded but not as firm as I would like)and flex up and down.

I don't know that I would say the metal flexed, but it certainly was not a tight fit. The base plate that the blade sits in would move side to side mostly, but also had some up and down play as well.
