Exactly the same as brass, slightly heavier on the scale but not noticeable when shaving

Just received an invoice for my Aluminum Karve Daily Shavers Kit. It looks like batch #2 is complete and ready for shipping.

Glad to hear orders are flowing through to most folks. I recently upgraded from OC-D to SB-F and am loving the F, puts this razor right in Blackbird and Apollo Light territory.

My thinking is when business and ordering goes slow he can keep up. Not meant as a negative. He only makes so much. The Karve brand has slowed considerably, and he’s probably in his comfort zone. Copper looks nice, but Karve seem to get a little bored too easily.
I’d like to see some different handles and stick to the brass and stainless offerings.

I received the aluminum invoice yesterday after filling out the survey Jan 14. Just over a 4 month wait

Update on Ti:

In an email from Chris this last week he acknowledged the top caps, SB and OC plates are complete. COVID has thrown a wrench in things over the past year as well. Machines have broken down and stalled everything this month to also add to delays. The hope is to start sending out orders in late July and finish by the fall.

Karve Al with E and G plates arrived today. I’ve tried the CB in a few varieties (Brass, Copper, B, C, D in Sb and OC). But never aluminum, and never at these higher levels. 



Shipped same day as order placed. The anodization is impressive! The red is a really rich color, less vibrant than the photo makes it appear. 

The 4” handle also feels great in hand. I thought the 3.5” was great, but this is definitely my preference with the lighter aluminum.

Think I’ll try the G tomorrow in a shave with some of Alberta’s finest.
