I assume then that will be waiting quite some time before even a Aluminum Daily Shavers kit will be made available again, going by what is being posted here. Not a bad thing perhaps for my situation as went on a bit of a potential razor acquisition spree (email notification list) in my zeal for starting this hobby again. A couple of members also helped me out here regarding that urge by bringing me back to down to earth regarding what I may get from a DE shave (thank you BPman & Marko).

Yes, the logical thing would be for him to complete and ship all the razors from the current wait list, before offering them to new customers again, which I imagine will take some time.
Having said that, several times in the past he has jumped to the next batch or project before finishing the current ones, which is one of the criticisms people have about his business practices..... so who knows?
If you’re really interested, I guess keep an eye on his website and his Instagram account (where he seems to make all the announcements).

Karve G is more efficient while being just as smooth.

DSR thanks for the heads up on Karve. I haven't waded through all the pages on this post but basically got the gist of it in the last few pages - certainly feel sympathy for his potential & current customers.

On a slightly different tangent regarding another manufacturer (Razorock Gamechanger razor), they certainly appear to be taking their time getting more into production, especially considering they indicate on the page they would be manufacturing b/w 500 & 1000 units a month to meet demand (maybe they are & demand is incredibly high, or Covid 19 is messing things up). Been keeping an eye on the .68 for at least a month (is currently available but only with a 'Bulldog' handle, which I am not interested in at all) & still waiting on a .84 head & 'Barber Pole' handle to appear,. Since in OZ need to make the most of minimizing shipping costs. But I can afford to be patient as have enough hardware to come to terms with at the moment, but this waiting/patience requirement for smaller(?) manufacturers seems to be part of this DE shaving experience. Guess it is something of a niece hobby.

I saw on FB and thought it was interesting that supposedly 82 orders shipped out on 8/5 or so the post says!! There were no shipping labels or even a box that says Karve on it in the picture. Could it be that he finally finished the polished SS razors or are there Ti razors in those boxes? Anyone get any shipping notifications yet?

On a whim, I signed up for the titanium waitlist within 6 or 7 seconds of it opening. I have a coupon to use which makes the price great for titanium and something made in my home country. I Have not had any contact other than the order form from a few months ago.

Not bothered as I haven’t had to pay for it yet... but now I’m considering when the time does come to pay, how will I know the razor is actually manufactured?

I assume since Karve likes doing things in batches, they won‘t be making them one at a time. Every time I lose patience and shave with my brass Karve, I‘m reminded that the Ti could very well be worth the wait.

I would assume his backlog is quite large and that he needs to correct that before releasing new materials. I have a sneaking suspicion many polished razors may still need completing.
