What he has going for him is that folks have very short memories. When he first released his SS razor, he utilized a wait list then that was not prepaid either....same as he’s doing with Ti. It was still a shit show, though. People were waiting and waiting for months and months, the wait list wasn’t moving, and then he suddenly started selling SS razors to retailers, which allowed people to scoop up an in-stock SS Karve from an online shaving shop ahead of all the Karve customers who had been patiently waiting in line on the wait list for months on end, to no avail. The kind of slap in the face that only Chris Kirchen knows how to deliver. No, nothing has changed. At least not yet. But it’s nice for him that some people think so.

Exactly!!

Excellent point Whisk-her Away  I wondered about that point myself. I imagine he had a prior agreement with on line sellers and had to stock them. At the moment he doesn’t need on line distribution from retailers. He needs to work on the list. But I’ve stated before way back when he played with the plastic razor. I sensed Karve loves to tinker, and wanted to please anyone who had an idea for a different metal. The shop can take brass and SS only at the moment imho. Then he went with aluminum, polished SS, and Ti which is a huge leap. And of course the different cap configuration.
I do websites and have for a number of years I never took a design, graphic, or web project that would tax myself beyond the point of offering good design and service to those who originally helped the business. Sorry, I degress a bit. I do want Karve to survive.

Well, I ordered various parts back in March. Then I changed my order in April. I received my stuff a couple of weeks ago, I think. So he is getting stuff out the door. Just thought I'd mention that. I had anticipated a wait when i placed my order.

Well I have a little extra cash and I’ll order a brass. I’ve given a couple away as well. Support a Canadian Company. I’m usually a Timeless guy, but I just need a .95 plate. Living in Western Canada I feel a bit guilty about buying, but it’s Covid time and he does make a great razor. I’d love to jump in and help the guy with organizing, however I think he still has the YouTube guy. Is he around anymore by the way?? Anybody?? Bueller?

Wonder if this is one of these Paradigm Diamondback 2019 situations where he polishes to the point where it gets a little soft (in appearance). In any case, he may need to consider just giving up and accepting that polishing may not be one of his strengths. No shame there; he makes incredible razors.
