Aesthetically, when polished it looks better than any of my DE and SE razors.

The razor came out beautiful does it shave any differently now that it is polished compared to the sandblasted

After 5 shaves (4 with C and 1 with D) I can say the Karve is the best DE I’ve used. It’s incredibly smooth but very efficient even with C plate.

Usually I shave every other day because I have sensitive skin and my beard doesn’t grows too fast. I never achieved daily shaving.
With the Karve I did it and my skin is good.
I love the C plate to daily shaves but need to test the D plate more.

Karve is awesome.

Don’t you have a Charcoal Goods Level 1? You find the Karve even better than that?

Had it in the past. Karve is better for me. More efficient and smoother.

this is getting too tempting... I really want a polish version and ideally in stainless steel but these reviews are really getting me more and more curious about it.

Would love to hear your feedback if the polished feels of shaves any differently from the original finish

Thank you! I did not use it polished yet, but from my previous experience with Wolfman and Blackbird I can barely feel any difference between the two finishes when shaving. But aesthetically the difference is obvious.

Given that I already have 3 base plates, I just went ahead and purchased a 3” handle and an additional top cap. Now I have 2 complete fantastic (both aesthetically and functionally) razors at about 2/3 of the price of a Wolfman.

And to my eye Karve razors look more pleasing than any other razor.

It's a wonderful handle too, perfect for a polished brass Old Type or SE Ever Ready.
