Aesthetically, when polished it looks better than any of my DE and SE razors.

I’m hearing Stainless and Titanium.Wink

Or a PVD or DLC coating of the brass model. I was researching sending the razor out for a PVD coating Smile

Thank you! On the top cap I used the 1K-2K-3K sandpaper progression followed buy a 20 minute Dremel session with the yellow jewelers compound. The base plate - only the Dremel and the yellow compound.

It provides sublime shaves, it looks STUNNING, and it is at least at half price of any of my top razors. It is a Game Changer for me.

I bought a couple of Cape Cod polishing cloths to try (as I'm without proper polishing gear). I'm currently without a base plate, as I sold my D as soon as I placed an order for an F on May 9. Tracking tells me my new F plate arrived at my office this morning. It will be much shinier than my handle and top cap, both of which I bought in December and are fairly burnished. I like the worn look, but they both will look quite a different color from my new F plate, so I plan to polish the handle and cap to make them look like their new friend, the F plate. We'll see how it goes. I'm absolutely certain my polishing work will not look near as nice as yours--that razor is simply stunning!

Thank you, Scott! If you use the 1K-2K-3K-4K sandpaper progression, the CC polishing cloths with a bit of a jewelers gold polishing compound could be just enough.

BTW, I did not polish the entire handle - left the middle section intact and will let it develop patina to create a nice contrast between the polished parts and the handle.

Amazing Alex! The new Razorock razor was enthusiastically named but the Karve really is a game changer. Great D shave again this AM!

I decided to not go full polish, did top cap, handle neck and bottom. I love the look.[Image: 2fae75414e216596baed2c193f22e835.jpg][Image: d4de5604133b47753254549f5f5fec5a.jpg][Image: 52fc00622695eb571bf5457317ee7459.jpg]
