I got the email as well and I really appreciate the effort he’s making at getting these orders filled.
Here’s the email:
“Happy Friday!
I'm sitting down with my fourth cup of coffee to plan the rest of my day, and I wanted to take a moment to reach out to everyone that has an order in the queue.
First of all, thank you so much for your support. You have no idea how much it means to me. Karve Shaving is an extension of my wet shaving passion and your support means that I get to work on something that I love.
I completely appreciate that you’re eager to get your razor. I’ve had my head down making parts…and I realize that I haven’t been getting back to all the emails that I should. Rest assured, I want to get your razor into your hands as soon as possible and they are coming!
Demand for the Christopher Bradley razors has been slowly increasing over the past few months. In response, part of my focus is improving my processes to reduce cycle times. I’ve already started building better fixtures that will allow me to make parts faster, but they’re not ready yet. With the E and F guard release, last week saw an incredible amount of orders come in!
I blew through my inventory and I’ve ramped up production to compensate. This past week was spent making a big batch of handles and I'm currently wrapping up a big batch of top caps. I’m also making guards now, which is the missing component for most orders. Once I start producing finished guards, I can begin fulfilling the pending orders. Progress is steady and I’ll stay on it until I catch up.
It looks like the bulk of orders will be fulfilled by the mid to late next week.
Thank you again for your support and for your patience. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.”
Cheers,
Chris Kirchen @karveshavingco
