I picked up some wet dry sand papers today at the hardware store. Bought the three finest grits I could find.

I'm going to practice on an old Gillette until my Karve shows up.

Thanks for this info, Gus. It seems Karve has entered into the territory of accepting orders without stock to fulfill them, although I could be completely wrong. Last I checked, an hour ago or so, one could still order the E and F plates. Unless I’m way off, his supply should have sold out yesterday or this morning. We’ll see, and I’m not stressed. I’m off to Pennsylvania tomorrow, and won’t be able to accept delivery for ten days anyway...
