Used the E plate today and I used a brand new Feather blade. My last shave with the F plate had a 3 times used Feather blade and a new formula soap from Grooming Department that had some additional cushioning ingredients. That shave was amazing but this shave was just as good. Again, more blade feel than the D plate and more feedback but incredibly smooth and efficient. I always feel my face several times after I clean up to see how close the Shave is and this shave was just as close after 2.5 passes as was the shave with the F plate. Like I told you all before, I can’t use Feather blades with all of my razors but this razor is so well made and machined to perfection that it really is so smooth with incredible efficiency. Once again, no nicks, weepers or irritation. This razor is extremely nimble on all areas of the face. I don’t shave my mustache area but I can’t imagine that being an issue ever. I know some people don’t like the tabs coming out on the sides of the top cap but that has never been an issue for me with this razor. I have a habit of always switching out stock handles but I absolutely love the look and feel of this handle and now that I have polished it, it looks that much better. For those that asked about the tarnish rag I used for a quick shine, they are made by Cape Cod I think. I have used them on various metals before and they work wonders in a very short period of time. If you are on the fence about this razor, it’s a must have at this price point. The matching and look of it alone would sell me.

I am not being reimbursed or rewarded for these reviews and these are only my OPINIONS!
Enjoy and I would really suggest getting your hands on this razor and get multiple plates for the “adjustable” side of things.

Great thoughts George. Both E & F sound like they would be nice additions. Can’t wait but the D is no slouch either. I love daily shaves with the D plate.

“But this razor is so well made and machined to perfection that it really is so smooth with incredible efficiency.”

Absolutely spot on above. I love that the tabs are exposed. Very compact and nimble head.

I never thought any DE would outshine the Paradigm 17-4 but the Karve hits on all marks. Incredible razor.

I totally agree. I tried a 17-4 that a friend of mine has and liked it a lot and tried to get one after the fact. I was at a point where I thought I had way too many DE razors and I was so impressed with the Sabre L2 gem razor and the Rocnel SE-G that I thought about not getting anymore DE razors but I could not pass this beauty up for the price. Chris did an outstanding job with this razor and I agree with you about the D plate. I just needed a bit more aggression while keeping the smoothness and I think he hit it out of the park with the new plates.

I had a Karve and loved the look, fit and finish were top notch but the D plate was just not efficient enough for me. Now I want to try it again with the E & F plate. Any Idea when they will be released?

Went back to the F plate today with a different soap to see if it is indeed as good as I thought. Used the same Feather blade I used on my last shave with the E plate. Second shave with this blade and once again, I put this razor at the top of all of my DE razors. The shave was just outstanding on every level possible. Once again I am feeling my face several hours later amazed at how close this razors shaves. Since getting the new E and F plates, I have been in awe at the quality of the shaves that I’m getting. I would love for someone to do a head to head comparison with the Paradigm 17-4 and this razor with the E or F plate. I talked to Chris yesterday and he is very close to releasing these new plates.[Image: 5fce8141db4e6605aaebc48f5051122a.jpg][Image: e134242c12866d2ce7a70d25eccc5e9b.jpg]

I am eagerly awaiting the new plates (guards) also.  george1906 has Chris mentioned anything about maybe making a stand for his razor?

Thanks...

I am really curious and will take part on plates D, E, F. Words / reviews here sounds very promising.

Haven’t heard about a stand but I will ask. Also, I asked about an open comb and he said that will definitely happen. Don’t ask me when but it will happen.

Nice George. The D plate is not as efficient as the 17-4 but it's a smoother, more enjoyable shave for me.
I'll do a comparison once Chris releases the E/F plates. Looking forward to it.

I am enjoying the Karve so much I am not really excited about the incoming Game Changer as normally would be. First world problems!

I’m a sucker!! Could not pass on the Game Changer at that price so we will see. I hated the new Mamba. Way too mild for me and since I own an original Black Mamba, selling it was a no brainer for me.
