Is this razor CNC made in it’s entirety? I have the timeless bronze .78 and love it. How does this compare? 78 bucks For an entirely CNC made razor seems way too good!!

Last week I received the D plate with 3.5 inch handle , I am pleasantly surprised at with how efficient and smooth the shaves have been . I bought it because it is Canadian made not that I needed another razor but it compares very well with the SS razors in my rotation .I would put the top 5 of my Moderns along with the Blackbird , Wolfman .74 , Weber PH and Rockwell SS.

Would you put the Karve equal, better, or less than of the ones you mentioned.

I have only 4 shaves in with the D plate but I would say it is equal to the others, I really don't think of them in a hierarchy but in how much I enjoy shaving with them .The things I enjoy with a razor are the blade feel, the smoothness , 2 pass efficiency and how well they are presented (visual appeal, finishing , balance ) and the Karve hits on all these points .The Wolfman is beautiful and the most well finished , the Weber has good balance and feel on my face , the Blackbird is very efficient and beautiful and the Rockwell is an all round good driver and has an industrial look that I like. It is like comparing Blues to Jazz to Classical to Bluegrass music , I enjoy them all but they are quite different and I would hate to have to chose one genre as better .

CNC machined yes...to perfection. I presently have the Timeless Titanium .95, Wolfman .74 and Paradigm 17-4. Had the Blackbird SB and Timeless.68. Until recently the 17-4 was tops.

Karve Plate D is my favorite overall razor fit finish and shave. Just an absolutely well thought out and executed razor introduced quietly I might add. Refreshing.

How does the Karve shave better than the razor's you mentioned.

Not necessarily better. Smoother. Sometimes the 17-4 and Ti .95 can be a bit much after a while for repeated every day shaves. The Karve shaves just as well (for me) and is more gentle on the skin.

Is the D plate as efficient as the .95 or are you going to get the E or F plate

Slightly less efficient than the .95 but I enjoy the shave more. Might get future plate(s) but looking forward to george1906 findings!
