I find my Timeless .95 SB/OC razors to be a bit aggressive if I shave sooner than 2~3+ days.

Terrific razors none the less.

Per your feedback, I ordered the 3.5" B & C plates today for daily drives.

I'm plagued with sensetive skin and very coarse facial hair.

Hope this setup works out, and many thanks for all the great feedback...

Very nice! If I may ask, what method/tools did you use? (I'm thinking about polishing a razor head or two.)

Thanks for all the kind words fellas, it really did turn out to look like a completely different razor and I absolutely love the looks of it right now.

First I aged the razor using (Brass Ager) from Amazon. The reason for this was so that the pattern on the handle would have some depth once polished. Then I attacked it with some 0000 polishing steel wool making sure that you always go in the same direction on any part your polishing with it. The more you polish with the steel wool the better the end results. At this stage it already looked awesome and I contemplated leaving it here but then I said what the hell and reached for some metal polish (the original magic mix) also from Amazon and a microfiber towel. I chose not to use the Dremel on this project because like I said before, I had some extra time on my hands but I reckon you can use it for the final compound polish for quicker results. I also left the patina underneath the bottom plate for depth as well.

Holy Crap!

It’s a completely different razor. Has the manufacturer seen these pictures!?! I would send mine back in a heart beat for that job! I was looking at mine the other day wondering if I was going to keep it or not!

LOL No, I don’t think Chris has seen it but I know he has plans to release a polished version at a later date. I took it upon myself because I was bored and wondered what it would look like and I’m very happy with the results, but if you enjoy the shave keep it! Give your razor the same treatment, it’s not a hard process but like I said before patience is key.

Received notification that Chris has shipped the Razor.

Very prompt service!

Anxiously awaiting arrival to take it for it's maiden voyage...

Received the razor yesterday with B & C plates.

Had a shave this morning with two days worth of growth.

Used plate B for this outing, and was plesently surprised with the smoothness of the shave, having used a new Nacet.

I did have to do a bit more work due to the mild nature of B plate, however I got a very smooth and comfortable shave.

I'll be testing out the C plate next, and hope for the same experience, though a bit more efficient results.

I didn't opt for the D plate, due to your collective feedback comparing it to the Timeless .95, which I have several of already.

I've thought of getting one of these, but they're about the same price as the Timeless bronze, which seems like a better value. Anyone have both?

I believe the Karve Shaving razor is only $99, whereas the Timeless Bronze is $130. Furthermore, the former is made from brass, while the latter is from bronze.
