Just got this email notice from Karve.

"We’ve got another batch of brass Overlander razors and stands ready.

They’ll be added to our store tomorrow at noon.

(February 15, 2022 at 12:00 noon MST)"

Awesome. It's a great razor. I'm very happy he's really pushing releases, too. I may get a backup down the road.

Which one is better?

Heard the brass version is a little draggy due to the matte finish. Would this be true for the aluminum one as well?

Can’t say the Brass is draggy for me but it might be my preferred angle with this razor.

I do think the brass one also looks really cool. So long as they are both the same dimensionally I think the biggest difference might be weight.

I actually kinda like the weight and balance of this razor quite a bit in brass.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I think I may eventually get both of them. Right now I'm leaning towards the aluminum because of the lighter weight and the color, I love the black.

Hopefully he will have plenty of stock tomorrow.

My Brass Overlander was delivered this afternoon (finally) from the prior drop. Will be anxious to shave with it tomorrow!

Yeah my bad, I thought the drop was going to be 10 am PST and it was actually 11 am PST. I was able to grab a brass razor and stand
