I have the same one only with the original head. Not only are they beautiful but the shave is outstanding. Use it well Alan.

Very nice razor, Alan. It is truly stunning looking. Love the color scheme Large chose for the aluminum.

That stand (looks like SV?) Is really cool, too. Didn't know SV made razor stands.

Stand is SV and very well made I like it a lot actually and it’s quite handy.

I see you got a red baseplate. Did I come with that or is it from an original aluminum razor that you already had? I don't see that in the options on the site. It is shown with a black baseplate. I'm curious because I'm going to get one eventually and I like the look of the red plate. Thanks

I had previously aluminum original razor with 4 baseplates and when this handle came out it was perfect fit  and match.

Handle is worth it in my opinion I like it a lot.

I have one of the Knopf pommel handles for my Karve aluminium too. I like it. Aside from the good grip, it has a pleasing Gillette Super Speed vibe.

A couple of weeks ago Chris also made a small number of 3” brass Knopf handles with a copper tip (that I guess will turn red in time). He offered three on Instagram / Facebook and I happened to be online and had just made an order that this could be conveniently added to. So I got one. This is Karve’s photo, not mine….
