What have you added to your stash to help those shaves along this month? Big Grin

Ran into this on the Bay, with around 34 seconds left to bid. Got it for under $9 including shipping.

No date code, which I believe puts it in the 1940s batches. Seems to work well and is in very nice condition.

I'm not a big fan on Gillette razors but I hope the early date code gives this one some oompf. If it ends up being too mild, it still makes for a nice gift / PIF to a fellow shaver. [Image: d9857cb9bf7b630bbfdc0afe143a0453.jpg]

Most likely a 48 - 50 if it has no date code. Would have to see the base plate where you load the blade to narrow it down further. I can't say conclusively but the guard looks to be a mk2 or mk3 version of that style of super speed. The very first make the guard is slightly different.

Been hunting this one for years. Either junkers or too little too late when the prior opportunities arose.

Fwiw, here's the inside and bottom of the baseplate.[Image: cb49f90d6f875db2e294bfb17e26f363.jpg][Image: ec200108754c8bfd88ac8f956684474f.jpg]

That is a 1950 NDC Super Speed. 50 was the first year that they went from pat nos on package to pat Nos on pkg.
