Congratulations, Sourav. I'd be curious to know your impressions of the LS.

Thanks.

I will surely post my impressions after using it for a while. But keep in mind that my frame of reference is very small : 1 shavemac(that too is 24/50), 1 thater 3 band, 1 chubby 2(from the time when i didn't know how to appreciate a big badger - so I sold it), 1 wsp and such.

Jeff (wyze0ne ),

I have one shave with it and am much impressed.  I now have three new synthetics and all are RazoRock.  Before these, I have some Omegas that I purchased in 2012 that are good brushes but are limp as a wet noodle.

I have the Italian flag handle, the Bruce handle, and the 400 handle.  The 400 has much more backbone than the other two.  I was able to buy mine for $14 but I think they've got up to $18 now, but still a good deal IMHO.  This is the first 400-type brush that I have ever had and the only small knock I can think of is that the base is small and will tip over easily if barely 'brushed' with your fingers.

For a more definitive review of this brush, see Matt's (120inna55)  post (#82 on this week's SOTD) where he really breaks it down.  I did not purchase the O-ring kit for my brush but it's a thought.

Take care...

Thank you, Freddy. Jay does great work, and I find the black chrome and copper look so stunning (obviously, as seen above!), even when I see it every morning since last April with the Super-Speed. Since I started DE shaving, I have migrated from modern to vintage Gillette, and with Jay's craftsmanship, have made the tools modern again. I had a replated Fat Boy that was lovely, all shiny like new. I considered refinishing it, but decided to part with it and let someone who is more into restored pieces have it. I love the look of the razors on the Delta Echo website, and have been fortunate enough to add some over time. And now they are the only tools I have. Well, until Gareth releases the Rockwell 6C in March. I have read so much praise for his 6S that when he announced a chromed zinc alloy version, I signed up!
