Yes, a retreat for the old and old at heart Its all a state of mind and if you feel elderly at 30 then by all means.  Maybe in today's political climate it will be enough to identify as elderly to qualify for social security.  If you've seen Clint Eastwood's movie The Mule you may have heard this song by Toby Keith.  It says all you need to know.

I'm not letting the old man in. Still think I'm 18 and it rankles me when my sons continually "check on me". I suppose I ought to be grateful for responsible young men making their own tracks in the world but holy smokes boys, I'm not even 60 yet! I still row a boat better than them. I can out shoot them. I throw a fly line better than they can and I land big salmon faster than them! Sure, I'm not as good at piano moving time as I once was, and they can make me look silly at the gym, but boys, I ain't dead yet.

29 so far. I have a feeling it won't last long.

I thought I was ahead of the game.  I've been 39 for the last few decades.  Turns out I'm screwed.

The thing about age is that no matter who you meet and how young or old they might be, at that moment they are the oldest that they've ever been and how they feel about that determines everything. Age, the ultimate YMMV.
