A gentleman sitting next to me at work yesterday was definitely wearing brut aftershave or cologne. Very distinct scent to me.

No school like old school moment here. Seems they refresh the brand, yet keep true to the roots. Interesting. I just go for it because of the ole' barber / grandpa smell that throws me back to nostalgia. I leave the bathroom after a shave saying, "a million bucks." No better words to describe it. just brings you back to that happy place where one thing right then, makes sense.

I have Brut and like it. My favorite though is Clubman Pinaud regular scent. Not as many folks like Pinaud, I just love the stuff.

I watched the videos of the brut commercials and now I want some - be the man. The shopping bag one particularly resonated Big Grin And a lot of guys are going to be man-shamed into changing those poopy diapers.

I've been thinking about picking up some Brut since I see it in the supermarket all the time. It's like every time I walk by the set of shelves with shaving stuff I hear all these voices calling out to me. "You NEEEEEEED me." "I'm cheap. Buy me." "Take a whiff. I'm easy." Anyway, I went on Amazon and see that they have two different items. One is the Brut Classic After Shave and one is the Brut Classic Splash On. Looking at the ingredients they seem to be identical. Same ingredients in the same order. The Splash On is slightly cheaper but not by enough to make a difference. Is this just marketing to make sure they capture every single possible person or are they different products? I'm guessing just marketing.

The After Shave contains menthol, the Splash-On doesn’t have any menthol   Shy

You are quite correct good sir. My reading comprehension is becoming embarrassing.

The original Brut is a magnificent fougère scent. Love it.

Sounds good - going to try to find the glass bottle here locally. Really liked Brut growing up, but struggled to keep from applying too much as a teenager in the early 80s. It was powerful stuff back then.

Still remember when Joe Namath was doing Brut commercials in the 70s and early 80s:
