I once scored three unused 'Fatboys' for $60 in an antique store. None were boxed, but all were mint condition. Another time I scored a Gillette Sheraton & a '47 - '48 Aristocrat for $30 for the two.

So went back and looked again. It clamps down too tight on one side leaving no gap. Other side looks fine. I don't see s y signs of it being bent. Phone camera can't get good picture of small or close stuff. But it was metal to metal and same on both blade ends on one side .

At some point I'd want to refinish it if it shaves good.

Like that the one is sanitized but it's $42 :/

Any of those good?

You'd be better served by throwing your money in a well. Replating often costs more than a razor is worth as well as kills all collectible value. A mere furtive glance at Ebay replated razors for sale that languish endlessly at ridiculous prices is sufficent evidence. The ONLY time replating is worth it is when the razor is say a sentimental heirloom from a father or other family member and you are going to keep it to pass on.

Never throw good money after bad. Wink

when I was out in Gettysburg, PA a few years ago with some friends, we went into an antique shop that was going out of business. in there, I scored a whole bunch of slims and fat boys for $5 or less each, IIRC!!!

That's true of anything past one brush and one soap.

I'll never be able to sell any of it nor do I ever plan to. I imagine if I die it'll all be thrown away. I have 5 plissoft style brushes and I'm getting a $100 ish ww which is a waste of money really as it won't preform any different then the others.
