Introducing... The Daily Lather! Smile

A lot of you have been following my reviews on Google+ but alas, the platform is limiting and the new interface doesn't help things. So it's time to own my own content and do it MY way...

All the reviews you've come to know and love - and so much more, like news, information and articles. I'm telling you guys first... Come on in and check it out! I have a TON of content to migrate still, but it's good to go. Please register with the site (scroll all the way down, left side) using whatever method you'd like.

Of course, let me know of any issues you come across (I know Firefox is a little whacky on the menu).

Huh There is a review subforum here. Are your reviews there? Please put them here. Don't make me go somewhere else. Too much work Sad

The site looks great, BoarderPhreak. Looks like you need to update your signature here on DFS!  Wink

I have two or three years of almost daily SOTD/reviews... If I'm pasting them anywhere, I'm going to do it once - and it'll be on my site, where I can own it, shape it and do cool things with it. But thanks for asking. Wink

Thanks so much! Glad you like it. I'm a bit biased, but I think it came out pretty well also. Of course, it'll really start to shine the more content I get migrated over to it. Then the related content along the side will really become useful, and of course you can fully search it.

Indeed, I'll have to update the signature. Heh. Smile

I checked out your site and read several reviews, to include all of the Barrister's Reserve reviews. Job well done BP!

Your plans for the site sound great. It’ll probably take some time to get there — do all the linking and get everything up to where visitors can search all content, etc. But I totally understand the desire to have control over your own content.

Good luck, and like said, it really is looking pleasing so far!

Thanks again! I do have big plans... Taking back my content from Google+ is certainly a huge part of it. The main focus of the site is to be a one-stop destination for news, reviews and articles really - something I already do on Google+ - just on a more powerful platform, where I also have more control over how the content is presented. I have no plans for a forum (DFS is already great). But I'll probably add a meet-up/events calendar soon.

Thank you very much! Smile

And yeah, I've got a LOT more to move over... *sigh* It's a rather manual process to convert from Google+ markup to HTML and then take advantage of the extra things I can do with the content.
