I haven't been on this forum long.  I've been on others for years.  Here is what I can tell you in the limited time I've been on this forum.

1.  I've traded with other members three items not necessarily in the "for sale" part of the forum but each person I did a trade with, shipped and provided a tracking number as did I, the very next day.  By all accounts, each party is satisfied.  Speaks to the members of this forum in an amazing light.

2.  I hate PayPal I'm not old, but I'm old school.  One member who must have been younger than me seemed shocked when I sent him a money order and in good faith expected he would ship.. He did and that says something.  " you don't have paypal" ... LOL

3.  While this forum may be in its infancy, I'm grateful it's here and that the members I have had interaction with are both professional and nostalgic.  Can't wait for this forum to grow.

I LOVE THIS SITE... I don't even checkout that "other site" anymore.... DFS is an open exchange of ideas, thoughts, and honest respectful opinions.  It feels like a community.  That "other" very popular site is very archaic and stringent... It Does not feel this way.

Whomever started the thread "show us what you look like" speaks to the community aspect you have built here.  I can post a thread about shave soap and using charcoal and not propane to grill in the same place; how great is that! I'm excited for what's to come, just please don't lose sight of why this has become so popular for wet shavers in such a short time span.  Keep up the GREAT WORK

I'm starting to see why you had a desire to branch out. I had some interaction with one of the mods of the popular forum about violations of the terms of use that weren't really violations. Not a buge deal, but it does get tiring. I'm liking this site so far.

I love this site too. So glad Chris Bailey recommended it on youtube. It's refreshing and fun. Everyone is playing well with others. This hobby is fun! The site reflects that.
