Pete123, I really think it will depend on your preference in shaves. Each of the high-end razors has their own shave-characteristics.
To me, the Blackbird feels aggressive while shaving but when I apply alum, there is seldom any burn. The Blackbird very often gives me the closest shave of any razor I own and is definitely in the top 5. This is a great "Friday" razor as I don't have to shave again until Sunday or Monday.
The Rockwell 6S doesn't have the price tag of other "high end" razors. But this razor consistently gives me great shaves (my preference being base plate 4). I rarely feel any burn from the alum after shaving and I rate the 6S as the absolute "smoothest" razor I own. No other razors matches the 6S when it comes to the ATG pass on my upper lip. The shaves are not as close as the Blackbird but, in terms of closeness, the 6S is definitely in the top 3 of razors I own.
The Rex Ambassador is a nice combination of the Blackbird and 6S. I usually use setting 3 to 4.5. It feels more aggressive than the 6S while delivering a very smooth shave. One of my favorite things about the Rex is the knurling. IMO, you'll never worry about having too slick of fingers.
Hope you find something you really enjoy!

You really can't go wrong with any of them. Happy hunting!

I haven't tried the one in bold, but the other three I own and would recommend with hesitation. I wouldn't use the Timeless as a daily driver though.
