I shimmed my 34c

I shimmed it with two more shims so thats a total of 4 shims but still not much better. Should I go straight to the r41 or what? I would by a ATT razor or ikon. I don't mind spending a few hundred dollars for something that works and I would use about everyday.

I'm coming from left field on this, but I would recommend a Mongoose. The shave is ultra smooth and the design of the head doesn't feel aggressive once the user gets used to the angle of approach. My second recommendation would be the Phoenix Double Comb razor.

Both handles won't screw in more than 3 threads.

Obviously someone has sawed off or ground down part of the collar, this limits the depth of the female end of the thread. The handle is ruined, for practical purposes.

That's crazy, but strange things happen. The Mongoose guys are fanatical about quality control. Email them as soon as possible about this and send the pictures. The sooner the better.
