Hi Gents! TONE here. I'll keep it short - many of you who are members of this community know me and are affiliated with me via our friendships and interactions "at another place", as well as in person.
Many of you have encouraged me over time that DFS would be somewhere that you felt I would be a productive member, and as well a place that I would really enjoy in juxtaposition to other places. Well, here I am. I have looked around a bit, and though I would normally take a few days (or at least a day) to look around before officially joining, enough of you who I know and who are members here have had nothing but high recommendations regarding being a member of DFS and so I have officially become a member. For those of you I may not know; I'm really looking forward to meeting new people to interact with.
After looking around(before I actually joined that is) I've concluded and have to say that I love the layout and the look of DFS!
I feel I will have a considerable amount to contribute to the community. I will go out on a limb and say that; though I'm relatively young(I believe), I'm quite knowledgeable in the culture and art form of traditional shaving. I have experience with vintage gear and modern gear - razors, soaps, and various accoutrements, etc, etc. I like to have camaraderie with my fellow wet shavers but I probably won't post as much as other guys; as my career can dictate much of my free time.
I shave daily (though I really don't need to biologically), I just hate any little bit of stubble whatsoever(always have) and so, as my signature will soon read, "I'm always BBS.... don't hate"
Maybe now that I'm here, my signature will better read - "I'm always BBS at DFS"
LOL...hardee har har... blah blah blah.... I guess that wasn't so short, was it.
