My song that's stuck is "Forever Autumn" as sung by Justin Hayward of the Moody Blues. I hadn't heard of it until I was cruising YouTube and found a video. Then I had to buy the CD from the UK. I never heard of it previously and it's just beautiful, not a happy song, but beautiful. I don't think it was released into the US market but could be wrong about that; what a loss. He almost didn't sing it; again, what a loss that would have been. There are worse songs to have floating around in ones head. Like crap. I have to keep reminding myself that the "c" is silent with that noise.

Here it is with Justins fantastic voice and lyrics.

I remember this episode of the Big Bang Theory where Sheldon could not remember the name of a song.  It turned out that it was Darlin' by the Beach Boys.  Then I became so involved with the song I could not stop playing it.  If you get in a situation where you can only remember a few words to a song and it bugs the crap out of you go to Google type in lyrics and the words you know and you should find the song

Right now in what is summer most everywhere else but is early fall in Alberta on the eastern slopes of the Rockies, I can't get California Dreaming by the Mamas and the Papas out of my head.  Sad

There are probable a dozen reasons why my wife and I moved to California.  Frankly, that song might have been one of them.

Oy - another one, for at least the last 4 days: A Groovy Kind of Love, as 'rendered' by Wayne Fontana and the Mindbenders. Ugh.

Chimo Bayo - Así me gusta a mí

I remember as a kid Chimo Bayo back in Europe and his little lights on side of his sunglasses lol

Great Catchy Song and very popular 90’s

I went two days with a fragment of a melody, a faint memory of the voice quality, and little else. No lyrics. I initially thought maybe it was a Motown tune?
It turned out to be the first four lines from "Grease" (the title song), by Frankie Valli.
I was thrown off for a long while because his vocal range is much lower than it was for, say, "Walk Like a Man".
If I had remembered even just the melody of the fifth line, I would've gotten "Grease is the word".

(Huh - none of them worked as an inline video when I was creating the post Just pasting in the URL worked)

At any rate, that's the only part I like of the whole soundtrack, which is mostly Disco.

Fortunately, 99% of my earworms is music that I like.

Now I've got another one.
The first two notes or so start out like the first two notes of the chorus in ""Aquarela do Brasil", then it turns into something like the acoustic ending of Los Lobos' version of "La Bamba".
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YicJPLT1dWU
But the tune in my head is played on something like an accordion or soprano sax.
Could be Tejano, could be South or Central African.
