I have soaps & creams coming out my ears any ways

This is the definitive. Thanks Claus! You and I have shared thoughts before- I believe that the vast majority of "issues" with soaps today revolve around either not loading enough or not hydrating the lather properly [enough and slow].

Pretty simple formula: soap + water = lather and most of the current offerings are capable of offering solid shaves if you just dial it in properly.

I do think it funny that we are debating the cost associated with shaving when I just had a meeting this afternoon where I payed $6US for a cup of coffee. Absurd.

Just imagine paying $6 per shave. For most of us, both coffee and shaving are something we can't skip in the morning.

I know right? At the end of the day I think we'll all be just fine. Coffee first, blade second Smile Also, Gareth want to thank you for such a quick turn on the Verde. Arrived today and looking forward to the shave tomorrow!

I'm a shave then coffee kinda guy myself, mostly due to the fact I usually just make coffee at the shop.

I haven't known how much "extra" lather I would have after my first two passes for a long time. I do a three pass shave, and before I do my third pass, I squeeze out the lather from my brush and wipe it all on my face, because its an against the grain pass and I feel like many times, some of the best lather is still in the brush. I just wipe all of that lather around on my face and neck and shave with it. Don't waste any.

Yes, this is how I approach it too.
