How many times do you use a blade?

I use a blade until work properly, for me, if I'm able to obtain until three shaves out of a DE, I considered it to be good.

Regarding at how I remember how many shaves I have made on a blade I continue to use it until last and take note how many time I have already used it, more because I like it, than because I need it, since in some occasion already happen to me to discharge a blade before its usual time, because was defective.

I usually use a blade for 3-5 times

DE - 2…maybe 3
Injector - 5 - 10. 10+ with Schick twins

This is subjective topic it’s varies what blade your using and it’s production quality!!

For me Vintage Polsilver blades made in Łódź Factory Poland I get 10-15x shaves at ease!!

Same for Astra Blue Superior Vintage and so forth!!

It seems to be vintage blades were better quality and superior to the ones that are made today but again that’s personal opionon!!

Rest of the blades generally 3-4x shaves and that is it folks!!
