It's always the same photo for the knotting services, always has been.  Wink

I can definitely give you some impressions:

B13 is softer overall than most batches. It has less backbone than B11, B8, certainly B9A or B7. The bloom and splay are substantial. The tips are not as soft as B8 or B11, because they’re not very gelly. The overall feel of the brush, however, is one that is softer than B11, in my opinion. It is a very “natural” batch of hair.

Any idea how it compares to B1, B5, and B6?

Mr. Aultmore...my sincerest apologies. I didn't get notification of this inquiry. Please forgive.

I have only kept a 30mm B6, (2) 30mm B11s, and just picked up a Blood of Kings B13 in Dec knots. I've only used the B13 twice. It is soft. Slightly softer than B6 on the tips. B13 is a bit softer than my B11s. B11 does have more backbone, that could be tricking me.

The ZT2 is my favorite brush, I have 2. Both are just great brushes when I have little growth and want a pillow on my skin. When I have a weeks worth of growth, I'll use the B11s for more scrub to try and lift the hairs. The B11 does indeed bloom like crazy, especially it you brush it out to dry. My B6 simply will not spread. No idea why.

For me, the ZT2 is a tad softer than the B13 but they are very close.

I am not as learned on knot construction as the "brush guys". They posses the skill of cyphering a knot from a photograph. So, I will edit this post from my cell to add 2 photos. The first (I hope) will be how these hair batches dry out and get crusty tips. I always give them a good shake after use but I don't go crazy. Some of the gel comes out but not all of it. The second pic will be of them brushed out a little. Hopefully, pics will help a bit.

I will tell you, the Zt2 and B13 are so close, I won't keep the B13 cause I only need 2 and the ZTs arent going anywhere. Smile
