While showering I soak my Chubby 2 Super and bloom MW Cedar & Sage. The shower really softens my whiskers and with my heavy coarse beard this is a crucial step. Like wise soaking my Chubby 2 seems to help with the lather building process as does the blooming of MW soap. I load for about 45 seconds or a count of 60 and this gives the brush a full load. Face lathering only, I start with circular motions until I have a thickish paste, then add a small amount of water to the brush tips and then use paint brush strokes to finish. First pass with my King Cobra loaded with a Kai Mild blade is WTG. I do a full warm water rinse and use paint brush strokes to apply the second pass lather. Second pass is an ATG followed by another warm water rinse and then a final Touch Up Pass for a couple trouble spots on my jawline. I do a full cold water rinse and rinse and rinse. The extra rinsing makes sure I have gotten all the soap off of my face and the cold water rinse helps soothe my skin and stops any swelling (micro swelling) of my skin. I leave my face wet and apply a healthy dose of Thayers Witch Hazel using upward motions only. Gravity is not kind with aging skin and anything I can do to help is a good idea in my book. I finish with Nivea Sensitive Shave Balm, again using upward motions to apply.

While I do change things up from time to time (brush, soap, razor), this routine has given me TSN every time!

What's your TSN routine?
