Need some tips and hacks how to measure the gap by myself. Have a Wolfman WR1 with 2 plates (OC & SB ), would like to determine the gaps on each. Any advise or link?

Going by this diagram, blade gap would seem to be much easier to measure than blade exposure, yet both have an effect on the performance.

If you were to, say, file off some of that guard bar with the file parallel to the shaving angle, the gap wouldn't necessarily change, but it sure would increase the exposure.

That image is from https://gilletteadjustable.com/misc-2/ad...lade-gaps/ (which has a nifty chart comparing 11 different Gillette adjustables at different dial settings)

If you don't mind damaging a blade, my newest trick for measuring blade exposure is to cut into the flat edge of a piece of paper just until the cap and safety bar touch. This isn't the actual blade exposure if you measure it, but it works for comparative purposes. Negative or neutral exposure can be analysed by placing a credit card across the shave plane and possibly inserting a feeler gauge.

I used a feeler gouge and got the following:
SB - 0.67
OC - 0.63

Are these logical numbers for a Wolfman gap?
AM I using a relative Non-Agressive, mild Wolfman?

0.61 and 0.67 are standard WR1 gaps so measurements make sense.

0.61 is the standard gap so your 0.63 is probably that. 0.67 is the next one up. Both have the same blade exposure of 0.10mm. That sounds like a nice medium efficient set!

Edit: I see you posted a photo with only one top cap, they are only sold with the baseplate. I wonder if your 0.63 is correct and due to a mismatched cap?
