I read your other post saying maybe I should give up shaving. No way. I enjoy shaving better than any other hobby. That was kind of offensive. And yes, I shaved with my Krona finally. Please forgive me for updating my progress too late but I was taking my time, AS ''YOU'' and one other member advised. I'm staying in the shaving world. I enjoy it better than anything else.

?????
Confused here.
BadDad is one of the few guys with a big enough heart to take the time to coach you along on this site. You might have him confused with someone like me, or 90% of the rest of the forum, but BadDad should not be the focus of your ire. You might want to think about walkin that back a little.

Freddy,
All of my soap and a 37C are my only current production shave items. Everything else is vintage---meaning it all looks homely Smile  And I love every aspect of them.
Maybe I will post a picture of Frankenstien, my homely reknotted brush that seems to shatter in my hands with regular use. I superglue it back together about every other month.

If you think I was attacking him, I wasn't. I was just simply explaining that I love my shaving hobby better than any other hobby. I have nothing against BadDad, or ANY other member on this site. All I want is friendship and guidance on this site as well as share my news as they come. That's all.

Alright, take it easy. I wasn't telling you to leave the hobby. My point was very simple:

People here think you are trolling. I think there is something else going on. I am giving you the benefit of the doubt, despite how ugly our first encounter was when you first joined this site.

If you are not trolling, it would behoove you to share some photos of your shave. This would help the others calm down, and perhaps see what I am seeing...or not...that's up to them.

If you are trolling...stop, and find somewhere else to do it.

That is all.

Definitely fits the 'homely" category! Smile

I'll post a picture of my face. But WHEN i figure out how to upload the pictures from my phone. I'm having a lot of trouble uploading it, it won't let me for some reason.

LOL!  It certainly does, Primo.  I don't know why I love this little kitten but I just do.  There are others in my collection that are better but it just sits on my sink waiting to be used for a day's shave and is always so pleased when I choose it. Winking

Wow, Freddy! That brush looks very well used!  Shy

For me, it would have to be my five-year old Weber DLCs. They surely have seen plenty of use for the past five years, almost daily, actually. Shy

Freddy I have a $.50 boar that operates far above it's pay grade. It's homely and one would never expect it to work as well as it does. But it does and I continue to use it in the rotation. I expected it to poop itself years ago and it just soldiers on.

Yup. Every time I use it I admire it's homeliness, but it just works and I can't argue with that.

Years ago I found a bin of them at a surplus/salvage outlet and I bought 150 or so of them. I sold them at cost +shipping and I wonder how many of them are in use today. The buyers were surprised at the quality for the price. I suspect it was a shipment of brushes headed to Quebec that got destroyed in the local rail yard. But that's just a suspicion based on almost nothing.
