Dabdoubf  is up next, but I can't find a way to PM him for his address, he might not have enough interaction on the site to allow it? I plan another shave tomorrow AM, and then will be sending it out.

Over the weekend it went out to jbreakfield

My final 2 head shaves left me a little uncertain. There was a lot I really liked about the Proof for head shaves - the weight, maneuverability and it allows for a "mindless" head shave. I changed up the save soap to a Wholly Kaw and still experienced the lack of smoothness whenever going over a spot with less that the full original amount of lather. As I did more shaves, this became more annoying. If not for that, I would pick this up in a second and retire the Leaf.

This is a cool idea. I'd be willing to have a passaround of my DIY Gillette SuperClick on a Gillette Fusion Flexball if anyone is interested.

I received the razor late last week. I will post my thoughts once I've had a few shaves.

The Proof razor is very nicely designed. Looks great, and the magnetic blade holder works much better than I would have expected. I used a Personna lab blue for all of my shaves with the Proof. The spring of the pivoting head took a little getting used to, but once I learned what to expect with a given pressure, it was a bit easier. The first pass of each shave was very smooth, especially on areas without much contour like the cheeks. I found it to be a bit less forgiving when navigating around the jaw line, chin, and neck. First pass (wtg) was still pretty smooth even in those areas. I was surprised at the efficiency of that first pass, especially when you examine the geometry of the head. I typically perform a two pass shave, one WTG and one ATG. For me, more than that can cause a bit of irritation. I tried this with the Proof, and the ATG pass tended to be a little harsh, almost like I was getting a bit of chatter at times from the spring. I especially didn't like going ATG in the aforementioned areas that required a bit more maneuvering. I changed up to a three pass, and that helped a bit when I went ATG. I got a few nicks/weepers on the first couple of shaves, but by the third shave was able to make it without any.
After all was said and done, I thought the razor does a nice job. One thing that I didn't care for was that I was unable to get under my nostrils very well, no matter what I tried.
I can see how this would be a great head shaver for some, but I wouldn't switch to it from my usual DE's that I use for my face.

Thanks to andrewjs18 for organizing the pass around, I really appreciate getting the chance to try razors like this one.

The Proof was sent out to MountainBear today.
