Looks like I'm #3 to introduce myself.

I use DE and SE razors mostly, but have used and enjoy a Rolls Razor. Of those my first love is for the SE razors.

I also make Krampert's Finest products. What began as a product for my own face and has taken on a life of it's own now.

Thanks for getting this forum up and running Andrew!

I was just perusing your website and have to ask - is Frostbite a menthol product? I would assume from the name, but didn't see it mentioned anywhere in the product description....

nevermind, I just read the aftershave description as I was typing this. Frankincense in a menthol product? Interesting, got me curious now. LOL

How cold?

oh man, Brian (aka shadowsdad & krampert's finest) sent me some of his frostbite aftershave a while back. it was so cold, it made my eyes water. if it's anything like the AS, and you like menthol, I think you'll love it...

Aftershave is much colder than soap. Brian wanted it this way to have a full freeze experience and finish with a bang!

Yeah, it's cold, and yes it's loaded with frankincense; it's not just a token ingredient so as to be listed in the ingredients, but a major component. It's good stuff. I made it for me and I didn't question the cost of the ingredients; I wanted what I wanted and cost wasn't a consideration. If it was ever to be for sale others would understand or they wouldn't. I understood that not everyone would understand or be a customer. Heck, even I didn't understand when I first got started.

Understand, I love my bay rum and it's the reason Kramperts Finest exists, but after making Frostbite I almost have to tear myself away from Frostbite to use the bay rum. Frostbite is almost an addiction. I've recently had one gent tell me that he sold all of his other splashes to stock up on Frostbite exclusively, and he did exactly that. I kid you not. I get similar stories regularly. Guys "cussing" me out 'cause it's ruined them for their other splashes. One disliked that I set the hook with the splash and addicted him to soft skin. I can't remember his exact words, but I think he mentioned something about a "feminine" side. That was never my intent, just to make a great product for myself.

The Frostbite soap is the introduction to the splash during the shave. Think of it as the cold on the mountain. The splash is you grabbing the handles of the bobsled, not making it on, and being dragged down the slope at 80 mph while holding on for dear life and completely out of control. That's precisely what I wanted out of it.

Just don't use any of my products as you use other products. Be sure to read the instruction sheet included with each bottle. Especially the Frostbite. It's totally out of the box in it's origin.

Sorry, I can get going. I love what I do. But now I need some sleep. Please PM me if you need more info'.
