Roflmao..... “Nuavia does come with a nice bowl tho”
hahaha, good stuff T28!

I do like that bowl quite a bit. As SV only comes with an optional bowl, I now stuff all my SV soaps into
the Nuavia bowl.

So...best of both worlds.
I don’t blame you, I would too. Cool bowls are more fun than plastic pucks.

I was able to score a Panta Rei Gattopardo, wow, the Shaving bowl on this thing was hand painted, the Lion on the lid is stunning! I also kinda like the i Coloniali Bowl, plain, however I really like TerraCotta. I need a CRSW!  Need vs Want, lol[Image: sePSseu.jpg]

You must try the NuaVia Red, mmmmmm, it’s nice.  My current fav smell tho is Dragonsbeard!

I've tried the Rosso and really can't handle the scent. Blu is the only one I don't totally loathe but even that one bugs me haha

Blu is a really special scent.  Now, take any Nuavia and take a tallow based, whip up 2 separate lathers, shave with the same razor, one side Wholly KAW and the other side Nuavia.  Now tell me what you think? (For illustrative purposes, I used Wholly KAW as an example, also an exceptional Top Tier brand).

Nuavia and SV, fantastic soaps.  Also, if you haven’t had ABC, it’s spectacular!

For those who have tried both brands, would you mind suggesting which you would prefer if forced to choose one?
Nuavia Blu, you won’t be disappointed

Nuavia now will come in a glass jar similar to MDC so no more ceramic bowl. They also cut the amount of soap down to 160ml. They did cut the price though.

Thats too bad, I suppose you could always scoop it out and pack it into your old ceramic containers.  I wouldn't mind if they sold refill pucks/blobs of soap without any hard container if it would keep costs down - I mean, does anybody throw those ceramic containers away after they're empty?  Might as well re-fill them with the original product.

Agreed, would love puck refills. Also wish I would have known about the ceramic bowls going away beforehand so I could have gotten a complete set.

Don't you hate that?  I had no advance knowledge of the discontinuation but I happened to acquire red, blue, green and black varieties  - is that the whole set?

Right now Mystic Waters is the only soap maker that I deal with that sells pucks alone that I'm aware of.  When you order one in a tub they come separately so you have to pack it in yourself.  Barrister and Mann used to sell refills but discontinued the practice a few years ago.  At this stage of the game most of us have lots of empty containers and there are lots of reasons why selling refills would be a good idea.  Only con I see is that it weakens the artisans branding efforts and does seem a little bit "hippy soap stall in a flea market-ish" but it would be a nice option.

Canada
Marko , Stirling Soaps sell pucks, individually, as well. I believe Cold River Soaps have re-introduced pucks within the last little while, but only in one scent/offering, if I am not mistaken.

Not sure it is what you had in mind, but MWF is widely available in pucks. Also TBH, as much as I like the old Nuavia format, the jars have a lot of practical appeal too.
