Filling out my Christmas list and I'm looking at a new shave soap. I have never tried either of these brands. Both seem to generally receive high marks in regards to performance. I am considering SV versus Nuavia as the title implies.

For those who have tried both brands, would you mind suggesting which you would prefer if forced to choose one?

You can't go wrong with either, I enjoy both, but if I could have only one I would stick to Nuavia. I find it lathers slightly easier and produces a better lather in my experience

I have just the opposite opinion. I love and enjoy SV very much. I have all of them, as well as 2 Nuavia. You have at least 2x more variety of scents to choose from and the new SV 4.3 version is a killer. Top tier soap for performance and scents. Thus, my vote goes to Saponificio Varesino!

It is indeed an excruciatingly difficult choice. For me Nuavia produces a slightly better post shave than the SV, though the latest SV4.3 is very close. I tried all four Nuavia scents, but only keep the Rossa, Verde, and Nera. The Rossa being my MOST favorite scent between the two brands. The second and third place (re: scent) are taken by SV Stella Alpina and Flying Mango.

If I were to choose only one - it would be Nuavia Rossa. If I were to chose more than one, I would go with Nuavia Rossa and SV Flying Mango 4.3

I have a full line of SV and Pannacrema in my rotation use, and love all of them. But I still can’t choose the best one. This is the top level of vegan shaving soaps. Any of these soaps would be a great choice. Focus on your personal preferences in fragrances.

If money is no object I say the Nuavia. I have both the Rossa and Blu and love them. Would I spend that kind of money again, no however, they are great soaps (incredible performance and great scents) and I will enjoy them until they are gone, or until Pannacrema decides to have replacement pucks.

SV is a very solid soap but I could only recommend the Felce Aromatica as I haven't cared for other scents by them. I do not feel like SV performs as well as Nuavia either.

I'm leaning towards Nuavia. Couple of questions though. Who in the US sells it and can anyone help me in trying to figure out the scents of the different color jars.

I have Blu and to me it's similar to B&M cool which is supposed to smell like the old Floid Blue, It's fresh and easy to like
