Hello to all! I'm a long-time wet shaver who discovered these communities when introduced to them by my sons. I've been shaving with my faithful Krona since the late sixties. Bought it new for $1.49 in the PX. Shaved with it every day until it gave up the ghost a few weeks ago. Replaced it with one from Ebay, but had to spend 10X what I paid for the original! Go figure! In any case, I've recently acquired a Brass Karve with an E plate which I am enjoying along with a RR Hawk which provided me with one of the closest shaves I've ever experienced. Learned about palm stropping and corking AC blades for that razor from Ruds on YT along with a host of other new knowledge from a bunch of new friends over at the Shave Den. I've been lurking here for a few weeks, but am looking to become more involved.
