Freddy, I live close to Kensington (up in the hills around Qualcomm stadium...an area called Talmage). How about yourself?
My goodness, we are in a (very) long walking distance (or 5 minute drive/bus ride) to each other! Is there any chance you know where Twiggs Coffeehouse is at the corner of Adams Avenue and Idaho Street?
We live close to each other indeed. If you ever run out of razor blades, and you need to perform an emergency shave, just send me a PM. I'll drive over ('cause who takes the bus in San Diego??) with a Feather or Derby.
Is Twiggs you hangout? I usually just go to the Starbucks in Kensington because in the morning I need caffeine ASAP. But caffeine keeps me awake at night, so I can't hang around in coffee houses in the afternoon (I'm afraid of the possible consequences).
My G-d, who, in his/her right mind goes to Charbucks?! (though I happen to know the one you mention here) I live diagonally across the street from that Twiggs. Besides, I don't like the Twiggs on Park, near the Parkhouse. Too dark for my taste. I would love to treat your girlfriend and you to a coffee if we could meet up. P.S., like you, I am a morning coffee drinker. Anything past noon and there is a good chance I won't sleep at night.
Thanks for the offer but I have moved on from both Feather and Derby. By the way, I take the bus and trolley! Though I have a car, I hate driving and do it as infrequently as possible. That must come from my Brooklyn upbringing. Subways, buses, and (in the early days) trolleycars were the way to get around.

The guy who needs caffeine as soon as he wakes up (desperately). Unfortunatelly, Starbucks is the closest place to my house that offers caffeine.

Right now she thinks I've lost my mind. I don't think I can blame her either -- she just sees and endless supply of shaving product arriving at our house every week. It would be awesome if she realizes that there are other lunatic...err...shavers out there who share the same passion.

I get a impression that people look at you and wonder just what the heck is wrong with you when they see you walking in the street. I just want to fit in.
Elver Gun, we may differ on many points. However, you and I live in a very walkable area and no one would look twice, as far as public transport goes. Won't you please PM me to set up a time to meet, but only if you would like to. I do early mornings and love Twiggs but am open to other places. San Diego is not the ever dreaded Los Angeles.
Welcome to DFS!
