I started my wet shaving journey 3 years ago when the job I took required me to wear a respirator. Before that I had a beard for 15+ years because I hated shaving and the irritation it gave me. I started looking into ways to combat the irritation issue and found wet shaving with a DE razor. I moved into another job role after about three months but was still considered a backup so I still get yearly fit tests. I continued to grow a beard and shaved whenever the yearly came up. This year I left the mustache and decided to grow it out and continue with the shaving and have come to really enjoy it. So that’s what led me here.
